Working with people...can be very positive and productive. We have enjoyed that many times with family, friends, jobs, churches and neighborhoods. What wonderful memories and blessings are shared!
Working people...also brings back memories. We have probably all been used, manipulated, taken for granted or deceived at some time in our lives. How thrilling when treated like we are wanted, needed, valued and included. Yet how heartbroken after realizing we were only temporarily "useful" for someone else's selfish gain...followed by rejection and isolation.
Tragically, this happens much too often among "christians." I have seen others' tears, heard their cries, watched it unfold repeatedly...and yes...felt its painful, deep sting numerous times in my own life. It is my prayer that we learn to love others as He loves us...unconditionally, unselfishly, genuinely and consistently. May our actions speak much more effectively for Him than words.♥~thl
