"Filling in the blanks..."

Dear God~
I call this one of my "blank days."
These are days when my heart is so full, it seems empty...
My mind is so overloaded, I cannot think clearly.
I want to unleash all that's inside...but I am numb.

Sometimes I feel like a book...the kind with empty pages.
Sure, there's a story...a message...a life...and many chapters.
But the pages are left untouched...blank...
Empty...yet so very full.

At the end of this day, I praise You...
For dear friends who reached out compassionately,
For a husband who kissed me before going to work,
For a son and daughter who told me they loved me.

Thank You, God, for "filling in the blanks."
For even when there are no words, answers or explanations,
You fill my life with love and joy.
Even on "blank days," I am blessed and I am grateful.♥~thl
