Today I will...care genuinely
for those placed in my path...
brokenhearted looking for hope,
grief-stricken striving to heal,
elderly searching for purpose,
children needing families and homes,
painful bodies silently suffering,
wounded longing for listening ears,
lonely hearts in busy crowds,
soldiers faithfully serving our country,
single-parents weary and worn,
teens looking for meaning and direction,
caregivers tediously nurturing,
workers touching others lives,
friends who care enough to ask,
struggling souls who need a smile
and each life whose story unfolds daily.
Thank You, God, for caring deeply about us.
May we care genuinely...and consistently...for others.♥~thl
