Day 3 of Gratitude...

As the need for rain continued this week, I watched our grass become increasingly dry and brown.  Yet tonight's storm brought rain and just before dusk, I noticed the grass seemed to already show a hue of green.  Of course, rain...and water are continually needed for survival.  But one evening's rain brought refreshment...and hope.

Life often becomes parched, dry and thirsty.  It doesn't take long to find ourselves weary, worn, exhausted, spent, overwhelmed and undernourished on many levels of this journey.

Tonight, I am grateful for God Who knows what we need...Who loves us...and Who refreshes, restores and renews our lives.  I longed to go outside and dance in the rain tonight...literally. Though I was unable to do so, the sounds and sights of the downpour reminded me that He indeed brings love, hope, peace, joy, forgiveness and fresh starts on this journey.  Thank You, God, for healing rain.♥~thl
